1. Who we are (data controller)
ClipDog is operated by Solutions Numériques SebayTIS Inc. — Quebec corporation, registered head office: Montréal, Québec, Canada · NEQ

- Email address — to deliver your generated clips and (if you opted in on the waitlist) launch notifications.
- Source video — to detect highlights and assemble clips. We never train any model on your gameplay.
- Hashed IP (SHA-256, no raw IP stored) — to enforce the one-free-trial-per-person limit and prevent abuse.
- Stripe-managed payment data (paid tier only) — we never see or store your card; Stripe handles it.
- In-game name + a few gameplay frames — sent to our AI sub-processor OpenAI (United States) to auto-write your clip captions/hooks. Used only to generate captions; OpenAI does not train its models on data sent through its API.
3. How long we keep it
- Source video: 48 hours, then auto-deleted.
- Output ZIP: 7 days, then auto-deleted.
- Email + hashed IP for paid jobs: 90 days after delivery (for receipts and support).
- Waitlist email: until you unsubscribe (one-click link in every email).
4. Where it's stored
Database: Neon (EU-Central, Frankfurt). Files: Cloudflare R2 (worldwide CDN, EU regions for European users). Email delivery: Resend. Payments: Stripe. AI caption generation: OpenAI (United States) — your in-game name and a few sampled frames are transferred there to write the captions.
5. Who we share it with
Nobody, except the sub-processors strictly to perform the service: Vercel (hosting + cookieless web analytics), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), and OpenAI (United States — AI caption generation). No advertising networks. No data brokers. We maintain Data Processing Agreements with our sub-processors.
6. Your rights
Under Loi 25 (QC) and GDPR (EU) you can: (a) access the data we hold about you, (b) correct it, (c) request deletion, (d) port it, (e) object to processing, (f) withdraw consent at any time. Write to clipdog@sebaytis.ca — we respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies & tracking
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country, device type) — it is cookieless, sets no cross-site identifier, and never collects personal data. No advertising trackers. We store one first-party preference (your language choice, in
localStorage). That's it.8. Data breach
In the event of a confirmed breach affecting personal data, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and affected users within 72 hours.
